Well, thank you. I'm glad to hear you'll continue. I know how you feel though. We think our actions will produce a certain outcome, when in reality we have no control over others. That's why relationships are so difficult. You do everything right (in your own eyes) and yet things still don't turn out right. I think, in the end, if you've done your best, then there's nothing more for you to do.
